Datenschutzerklärung
1. Verantwortlicher
Vorname Nachname, Straße Hausnummer, PLZ Ort
E-Mail: deine@email.de
2. Hosting der Website (Netlify)
Diese Website wird bei Netlify, Inc. (USA) gehostet. Beim Aufruf verarbeitet Netlify technisch notwendige Daten (z.

Privacy policy
This is an English translation for your convenience. The German version is legally binding.
1. Controller
First name Last name, street and number, postcode city
Email: deine@email.de
2. Website hosting (Netlify)
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (USA). When you visit it, Netlify processes technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, date and time, requested page, browser) in server log files to deliver and secure the site. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (secure and stable operation). Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
3. Account, profile and database (Supabase)
For sign-up, login and storing your profile and uploads we use Supabase (Supabase, Inc., USA) with servers located in EU / Frankfurt. We process:
- Account data: email address and password (stored only as an encrypted hash), time of sign-up and login.
- Profile data: username, display name, bio, links, design settings and uploaded images, videos and audio files. This data is publicly visible on your profile page – that is exactly what the service is for.
- Statistics: number of views of your profile and clicks on your links. To prevent double counting, a hash of the IP address and the date is created for each view and stored for at most two days; the IP address itself is not stored for this.
- Reports: if you report a profile, we store the text of your report and – if you are logged in – your user ID.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (providing the service according to the terms of use) and, for statistics and abuse prevention, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
3a. Sign-in with Discord
You can optionally sign in with your Discord account or connect it in the dashboard (Discord Inc., USA). Discord then gives us your Discord ID, username, profile picture and email address. We also regularly check (about every 10 minutes) via a bot whether you are a member of our Discord server and which roles you have there, so we can award matching badges automatically. We do not store the roles themselves, only the badges awarded from them. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (a feature you requested). The connection ends when you delete your account.
If a user links a Discord invite, our server only fetches the public member count from Discord; no visitor data is sent to Discord.
3b. "Now playing" and Discord status (via Lanyard)
Users can optionally show which song they are currently listening to on Spotify and their Discord status (online/idle, custom status, current games and activities, Discord avatar). For this, their public Discord status is retrieved via the third-party service Lanyard (api.lanyard.rest); the user has to join the Lanyard Discord themselves. When you open a profile with this feature enabled, your browser loads the information directly from Lanyard and images from Spotify and Discord; your IP address and technical data are transmitted to these services. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR or, for the user, Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.
3c. Templates
If you share your design as a template, the design (colours, background, layout, effects, music and the images/videos/audio files used for it), the template's name and description and your username are shown publicly in the template gallery. Your profile's name, bio, links and avatar are not shared. When someone applies your template, we store who applied it so that each person is only counted once; only the number is shown publicly. You can delete your templates at any time in the dashboard. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.
4. Emails
For confirmation and password emails we use Supabase's email service / provider, e.g. Resend or Brevo. Your email address is transmitted to that service.
5. Local browser storage
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Only technically necessary data is kept in your browser's local storage (local/session storage): your login (session token), your language choice and markers so that a view or click is only counted once per session. This is permitted without consent under § 25 (2) TDDDG.
6. External content and services
- Fonts and icons: icons are loaded from cdnjs (Cloudflare, Inc.), program libraries from jsDelivr. If a user picks a special font in the editor, it is loaded from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd.). Your IP address is transmitted to the respective provider.
- YouTube videos: if a user embeds a YouTube video as background or banner, it is loaded via youtube-nocookie.com (Google).
- Files linked by users: users can also embed images, videos or music from other servers by link. When you open such a profile, your browser loads these files directly from that server, which receives your IP address.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (attractive and functional presentation).
7. Retention and deletion
We store your data as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time in the dashboard under "Account & data" – this removes your profile, statistics, uploads and login data. Server log files are deleted automatically by the host after a short time.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability (e.g. via "Export design") and objection. Just send us an email. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
